Union des Forestiers et Industriels du Bois du Gabon (UFIGA) is a professional association created on March 24, 2003, with the sole aim of studying and defending the economic, material and moral interests of its members who are active in forestry and have industrialized and developed forestry. UFIGA's main mission is to :
- Organize meetings with government authorities, development partners and private-sector partners with an impact on the forestry-wood industry, to ensure the economic visibility and sustainable development of members;
- Continue to support members in obtaining legal/sustainability certification (OLB, PAFC/PEFC or FC) as part of the PPECF II / ATIBT program.
